Balade à Balaton / Stroll in Balaton

Hello hello,
Et me revoilà après un autre petit saut chez fois ci à Budapest et Balaton. Budapest est connue, archi connue et toujours aussi magnifique.
Mais je pense que l'on méconnait une autre petite ville situé à 1H30 de route qui s'appelle Balaton...Et j'aimerais vous dire qu'il faut y aller !
Balaton, c'est une ville hyper connue en Hongrie...S'y trouve le plus grand lac d'Europe..Une tuerie de point d'eau où l'été les touristes envahissent la région. Les touristes sont principalement des Hongrois et Allemands. Autant Budapest regorge de français autant, je crois qu'on ne s'aventure pas trop hors de cette ville et pourtant.... le trajet en autoroute est on ne peut plus simple...Prendre la M7, tout droit et zou...Arrivée à Balaton !
En été tout le monde s'y baigne, l'esprit est bon enfant et les sports motorisés sont interdits sur le lac...Bref un havre de paix... Les photos sont pinterest, là avec le temps qu'il faisaint quand j'y suis retourné, ce n'était même pas la peine ;-)
Pour y dormir je ne peux que vous recommander ultra chaudement le Chateau Visz, une adresse ultraaaaa fiable à 10 min du lac et qui est un pur luxe !
J'y ai passé quelques nuits et comme nous sommes encore hors saison, le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins pour vous: préparation à la carte pour manger...J'avais une grosse envie de gateau au chocolat..Je vous laisse regader les images, elles parlenet d'elles mêmes.
A savoir: le pain aux oignons est présent partout!!, on aime le canard dans ce pays (servi à toutes les sauces), le Tokai est ultra connu mais un autre vin blanc mérite vraiment votre attention le Konyiari: ça c'est une véritable perle.....Ce vin a remporté je ne sais quel prix oufissime, mais juste il faut le goûter, c'est une vraie recommandation.
La Hongrie est à mon sens un pays méconnu dans la mesure où nous ne nous aventurons pas ou peu hors de Buda& Pest alors que franchement il y a de quoi faire...
A Budapest, pcq je pense que c'est ce qui intéresse la majorité d'entre vous: 2 adresses spécifiques qui valent le détour.
Le café New York: la café/restaurant qui est adjacent à l'hôtel Boscolo et qui lui appartient d'ailleurs...C'est hors de prix mais magnifique ! Un chocolat chaud (oui j'avais super froid sous la pluie), une assiette de dessert Israel et vos papilles seront au top !
La chocolaterie Rozsavolgyi...Juste un truc incroyable....Les tablettes sont magnifiques autant visuellement qu'au goût..J'ai pris les suivants: chocoalt au lait aux éclats de fleurs de lavande caramélisées (le nom est long mais MANDIEU que c'est bon), chocolat noir au sésame, gianduja, chocolat noir pistache.
Quand je vous dit que c'est bon, c'est vraiment excellent. Le prochaine fois je pense que je ramènerai ça comme petit souvenir à chacun..Ce sera plus que parfait mais pour le moment je vais toutes les manger et ne aps en perdre une miette !!!

Here I am after another small jump in another counrty. This time I was for the 3rd time in Hungary visiting Budapest and Balaton. Budapest is known super known and still beautiful .
But I think that we do not know enough another small town located at 1H30 drive called Balaton ... And I would tell you that you must go!
Balaton is a touristic city very wellknown in Hungary ... You will find there the largest lake in Europe .. A great place where during the summer tourists invaded the region . Tourists are mainly Hungarians and Germans. Budapest is always full of frenhc tourists but I think that we never go out the border of this city. And we should .... It is so easy to go: just rent a car, take the M7 highway , straight for one hour and here you are ! Check Balaton .. !
In the summer everyone swims and relaxed in this quiet city (menaning quiet when there is not so much tourist !). Motorized sports are not allowed on the lake ... In short, a haven of peace ...
To sleep I can only recommend you warmly ultra Chateau Visz a super hôtel that is a 10 minutes from Lake address and is pure luxury !
I spent a few nights and as we are still off season , the staff is taking care of you in the nicest way ! They are there for you ready to cook anything you want. As an example I was just dreaming of a chocolate cake.. hum hum..Just look at the picture, it talks by itself no?
You have to know that in Hungary : Onion bread is everywhere , we love the duck in this country (served all the sauces ), the Tokai is known but another great white wine really derserve your attention Konyiari : ! That is a real gem ..... This wine won I do not know what great award, but it just takes the taste , it's a real recommendation.
Hungary is in my opinion an unknown country as we never go out Budapest and frankly speaking there is a lot of things to visit ...
In Budapest, cos I think it is what interests you: two specific addresses that are worth visiting .
New York Café : The café / restaurant is adjacent to the hotel Boscolo and belongs to it I think ... It is expensive but beautiful ! Hot chocolate (yes I was super cold under the rain) , a plate of dessert named Israel and your taste buds will be on top!
Chocolate Rózsavölgyi ... Just an amazing thing .... The tablets are visually stunning as they taste .. I have bought the following : chocolat milk splashes of lavender flowers caramelized (the name is long but OMG it's good ) , dark chocolate with sesame, gianduja & dark chocolate pistachio .
When I told you that it's good, it's really excellent. The next time I think I will bring it as souvenir to everyone .. It will be more than perfect but for now I'll eat them all and will not miss a piece !
